Bible Character Night

When you realize 30 minute before Awana that tonight is dress like a Bible character night, so you gather the fabric scraps and go with scripture’s only boy-girl-girl sibling set: Mary, Martha, and Lazarus!

Welcome to October

2 years ago, when my mother saw that we were studying anatomy and physiology, she sent us a 5-foot skeleton.

It arrived in early October, and we couldn’t help ourselves. A tradition was born.

He moves to a different location every day until Halloween. On the first, he helped us celebrate Nigeria’s freedom from British tyranny.

Today, he’s helping us learn our dead language.

Where do we store our skeleton the other 11 months of the year? No, not in the closet. He sits at the head of the dinner table, of course!
